Fabulous location, amazing building and grounds. We really enjoyed the hotel.|Our room was very comfortable. The dining room had spectacular decor. |The swimming pool area was very clean although we were at the end of the season so the pool was a bit chilly.
My boyfriend and I decided to go to this beautiful villa on 24 December. The villa is really beautiful😍The service was very nice. And most importantly, the cuisine is amazingly delicious 😋 Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Cozy exquisite Villa near Venice. Very good accessibility with public transport to and from Venice. You have daily transfers to Venice and back (you have to pre-register at the front desk) from 9 AM to 6 PM (included in room cost). Breakfast is standard and plentiful. Two things stand out - the mural interiors and numerous paintings that ornate most of the walls and the absolute kindness and servitude of the staff. We were during the off season and we didn't use the pool and the other amenities but from what they look like, during summer it's a dream destination. After a crazy Venice experience, relax at Barbarich Villa.
Very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Barbarich! A free shuttle to/from Venice was very convenient for our day trips. The staff was super friendly and the pool was great. Most of all, the included breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend for couples and hope to visit again!
We arrived and there was a wedding that made noise until late.
The rooms are not really renovated.
They are not cleaned properly, they only change sheets and leave garbage and dirty dishes.
The coffee machine did not work in the room, at the reception they said they would replace it the next day and the next day they said there was probably a misunderstanding and there is no machine.
Wi-Fi is weak.
Poor breakfast and everything at extra charge.
Except for the location and the shuttles to Venice. Disappointing hotel. Mainly in the level of cleanliness and service.
Me and my fiancee stayed at this hotel for a week and it is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Luca in particular was very helpful. They offer a free shuttle service to and from venice …
We chose this hotel as it looked really stunning and was in the outskirts of the island of Venice. The service from the get go was outstanding; the reception was incredibly helpful and extremely knowledgeable. His passion for Venice shined through and we were both very pleased with our welcome to the hotel. The hotel itself is exquisite. It's like going back in time in Venice, the glass chandeliers, the seating areas, the widen beamed ceilings, the stone and brickwork floors everything here is stunning.
The breakfast service was great. Everything was beautifully presented and the espresso was delicious. The swimming pool and the area around the pool is well kept, comfortable and clean.
Be warned though; if you want to eat at the restaurant I would recommend you book in advance. We only stayed for two nights and I tried to book a table for dinner twice but to no avail. From what I understand from the manager's explanation, they only offer a exclusive dinner service from 7:30pm-11:30pm, so if you don't book in advance you're basically screwed. We stayed here during a great wave, and after spending the day in Venice, walking around the last thing I wanted to do was to search for a restaurant in the surrounding areas, which by the way, it's not very nice and the parking situation there is quite tricky.
Due to the whole restaurant situation, I wouldn't stay here again, but if you want to experience a stunningly beautiful hotel, then go for it. Oh and also, or room had quite a bit of wear and tear which was a bit of an eye sore, but maybe they have it too us because we booked with Secret Escapes.
Villa Barbarich is a beautiful place to stay. The building is stunning and it also hast vast manicured gardens. Having a swimming pool is an added bonus. A free return shuttle bus to Venice (prebook the day before) is really efficient and …
